Volker
Mann
Volker discovered yoga in 2004 when living and working in
China and looking for a method to both calm the mind and exercise
the body.
Yoga changed his life since then, and he finally decided to
quit his corporate job in order to dedicate more time for
yoga. He studied with international teachers like Paul
Dallaghan, Pablo Alvarez and Bela Lipat and took a 200-hours
teacher training with Lance Schuler to become a yoga teacher.
He started teaching in Shanghai’s premier yoga studio, Yplus,
before he moved to KL in 2009, where he now is teaching at
several places and studios.
Volker has always been passionate to share with others the
positive experiences that have happened in his life. In his
classes, he focuses on proper breathing and correct alignment
of the poses. Previous teaching experiences in gymnastics
and dancing have proved to be very beneficial.
Beside the classical Hatha yoga disciplines, Ashtanga and
Vinyasa Flow, he enjoys practicing and teaching Acro Yoga.

Kunal
Kunal has been practicing and teaching Ashtanga Yoga, as well as using the Ashtanga sequence as a foundation for creatively sequenced Vinyasa classes, for over 10 years now. More importantly, Kunal’s study of yoga is ongoing, and it is his experience that all one needs for a life-long journey of self-discovery is held within the yogic texts and a dedicated asana practice.
The daily ritual of coming to one’s yoga mat, working through the limitations of the body, mind and emotions; using the rhythm of the breath and the focus of drishti (eye gaze) in order to flow into a stillness and an inner connection, is for Kunal the joy of his yoga practice.
Kunal teaches both Ashtanga Yoga and Vinyasa – his teaching is strong, mindful and and from the heart.
